Room size are big, they have washer but no dryer in the room. The location is close to the metro and there are bus stops nearby that basically takes you to the Capitol Hill area etc. White House is just around 2 blocks away. Downside is there is no grocery nearby, the closest one is about 15 mins walk at least. There are plenty of decent restaurants in walking distance.

We stayed here for a week in a platinum suite and it was wonderful. The suite was warm, spacious, lots of hot water, good strong shower, very comfortable bed, lots of storage space, walk in wardrobe, fully equipped kitchenette, good wi-fi connection. It is within a 5 minutes walk of metro Farragut West and 20 minutes walk to a large food store as well as a 7-eleven 5 minutes away. Plenty of cafes around the area. The silver line metro runs from Dulles airport to the metro so no need of a taxi. Hotel is only a block away from the White House and is in an excellent location for walking to all the main sites although the metro is quick and easy to use for places further out. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Suite and hotel exceptionally clean. The area is not too touristy and we felt safe even late at night. Wish we could have stayed longer on this visit but if ever get chance to visit DC again we will definitely stay here. Although fairly expensive we thought it was good value especially for the location and we can highly recommend AKA White House.

This is a fabulous hotel, offering beautiful spacious apartments which are fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. The location is superb, very close to The Whitehouse and many prominent monuments and parks are in easy walking distance. The price is very reasonable and they even give you a free drink at the bar. Comfortable bed, lovely kitchenette, luxurious lounge area and 2 toilets which is great. Spotlessly clean, cannot fault this place.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic Stay – Perfect for Families! We had an amazing stay at AKA White House over spring break! The apartment was clean, spacious, and felt like having our own home in the city. Both the air and heat worked perfectly, which was a plus with the unpredictable weather. The location is unbeatable—just a 10-minute walk to the White House and 20 minutes to the Washington Monument. The bar downstairs was lively with great music in the evenings, and the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. Traveling with our two sons, we really appreciated having two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The space was perfect for our one low-key night in—ordering pizza and watching movies. A huge bonus was the private movie theater you can book to enjoy your own screening! Highly recommend for families or anyone looking for a comfortable, stylish stay in D.C.!
