Zhangjiajie Ruke Hotel

It has been the best and unforgettable experience! Firstly, we were picked up at the airport in the right time and very easy to identify Joe to drive us to the hotel (he did not allow us to take the heavy luggage, he did it instead! SUV was impeccable and excessively comfortable!. When we got to hotel Joe again took our luggage to the lobby, we were very warmly welcomed with a nice tea and slippers to rest our tired feet!, they took our shoes and offer to clean them as well as we were offered to wash clothes for free if needed!!! Wow..we really felt like at home!! Room was quite nice, large size with nice amenities. When going out to hang around we were taken again by Joe, - we did not have to ask for! .. we were helped to book Fox Fairy Show tickets , and again, Joe took us no just to the show, he walked us to our sits! After the show he did picked us up… breakfast also amazing… we were taken to the railway station after checking out. Thanks to all Ruke’s staff members to make us feel not just welcomed but like in Home.!! Unforgettable and highly recommended to stay at Ruke!!

Wonderful stay, with great service as you arrive, super clean room and friendly staff. It’s very close to Tianmen mountain as well as the airport so it was convenient for us. The staff served us breakfast as well the following morning and the hotel cat and kittens were super sweet!

Wow, this hotel truly exceeded all our expectations. Everything about our stay was exceptional, and I can confidently say there was not a single fault. From the very beginning, we felt incredibly welcomed by the staff. We were greeted downstairs at the door, our luggage was taken care of, and we were even offered tea and a hot towel, which was such a nice gesture. Before we were escorted to our room, the staff even helped us to change into slippers (outside shoes aren’t allowed past the lobby). One of the staff members then accompanied us to the room and explained every detail about it, something I’ve never experienced before. The room itself was also spotless and very comfortable. The shower was spacious, and the toiletries provided were of high quality. I also wanted to mention a moment where I truly felt genuine care from the staff. On a day when the temperature suddenly dropped, they had advised us to dress warmly and even provided us a bag with rain jackets and water. Without this kind gesture, I genuinely feel like I would’ve gotten sick so I felt extremely thankful. Coming back to the hotel, they even welcomed us back with hot tea and dessert, which was such a comforting and thoughtful touch. The hotel was also home to five adorable and friendly kitties. As a cat lover, this was such a delightful bonus and made the entire stay feel even more charming and homey. Overall, I would highly highly recommend this hotel. Although it is slightly pricier than the average of most hotels located in Zhangjiajie, the service and quality of the room definitely make up for it. There is no doubt that I’ll be staying here again when I come back to visit!

Stayed 2 nights at Ruke Zhangjiajie. It is a very beautiful boutique hotel located just 13 mins walk from the Tianmen Mountain Cable Car Station. The hotel provided one way complimentary pick up service from the Airport or Train Station depending on the package you booked, which was an excellent addition to what they have to offer. The room is immaculately decorated, spacious and unpretentious. It is tastefully furnished. We booked the entry level Room which was very good in my opinion but we peeped into the higher category, it was magnificent. If you can splurge a bit, go for the higher room category. You will not regret it. All the hotel staff were very accommodating and helpful, in fact all they have provided to us an impeccable service during our stay. The breakfast was tasty and they have 3 different selections of "Set Menu". Hearty and delicious. My only concern was that you can only select either "Coffee/Tea" or "Fruit Juice" or "Yogurt". In my opinion, these 3 items served different purposes and should not be an option but to provide all who need it. Nonetheless, we still strongly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants something different and unique, and has the accessibility to Zhangjiajie Tianmen Mountain and the City Centre.
