Royal City, Hanfu Authentic Origin: Seoul, as the core of Korean history and culture, has a long history of Hanfu culture. The Hanfu here strictly follows traditional regulations. From the fine piping on the collar and cuffs to the gorgeous embroidery on the skirt and clothes, they are all the crystallization of orthodox craftsmanship, showing the style of the royal city. It carries a profound historical heritage and can be regarded as the authentic origin of Korean clothing.

Metropolitan scenery, Hanfu adds charm: Step into Gyeongbokgung Palace, wear Hanfu and walk slowly, as if you have transformed into an ancient scholar, enjoying the legacy of the dynasty; stroll through Bukchon Hanok Village, the scattered ancient houses and winding stone roads, set off by the colorful colors of Hanfu, overflowing with folk customs, and every frame exudes charming charm; shuttle through Insadong, traditional Hanfu encounters literary shops, and the collision of ancient charm and fashion creates a different spark, which is intoxicating.

Craftsmanship, enjoy the perfect environment: Seoul's local hanbok makeup artists carve exquisite makeup according to the style of hanbok, match it with exquisite accessories, and perfectly restore the traditional charm. The photography team is even more of a light and shadow catcher, using the eaves of the palace walls and the alleys and courtyards to accurately capture the amazing moment of the fusion of hanbok and Seoul, allowing you to immerse yourself in this hanbok carnival that interweaves tradition and modernity and appreciate the unique style of Seoul.

Come to Seoul to experience Hanbok, and let this unique memory become the brightest highlight of your trip to Seoul, shining in the depths of your mind for a long time.

Hanbok experience in Seoul 🇰🇷

One of the best ways to explore South Korea is wearing a hanbok while visiting a palace. We visited Gyeongbokgung palace because it is the most popular one, atleast to me. We rented the traditional Korean dress at hanboknam. The rental shop was busy, it took us an hour to dress up. There were only few staff in the shop, and they were not very helpful. We also paid a studio photoshoot before we went to the palace. We waited an hour and a half for the photographer to come so that took all of our time. So annoying. We could have stayed longer in the palace if we weren't freezing cold. Entrance fee is free in the palace if you're wearing Hanbok. #seoultrip #tripmoments #tripblazers #hanbok #hanbokexperience #seoul

Experience Wearing Hanbok in Korea!

100 Must-Visit Korea Destinations! ✨ During my recent trip to Korea, I had the opportunity to visit one of the five palaces in Seoul. I took a photo at Gyeongbokgung Palace and was thrilled to have the experience of wearing a Hanbok in the country itself 🫶✨ I rented it for free because it was included with the Discovery Seoul Pass (I'll talk about it in the next post!) There are five palaces you can visit when you're in Korea, all located in Seoul (Gyeongbokgung Palace, Changdeokgung Palace, Changgyeonggung Palace, Deoksugung Palace, and Gyeonghuigung Palace). 🥳 Wearing a Hanbok in Korea was already on my list 🌸💐 because it's not only stylish but also a memorable experience. Oh, by the way, Gyeongbok Palace is located north of Seoul (Gangbuk), South Korea. This palace is one of the five grand palaces built during the Joseon Dynasty, which you must have seen in Korean dramas, right? 🌼 The vibes here are truly different, and I loved how most people who visit this place also wear Hanbok. It's adorable and charming 🥰 For other exciting destinations in Seoul, I'll discuss them in my next post! ✨ #Seoul #Hanbok #gyeongbokgungpalace

Unlock a New Way to Play in Seoul: Hanbok Experience

Unlock a New Way to Play in Seoul: Hanbok Experience

When I travel to Seoul, I choose to transform into a hanbok girl and take a set of authentic Korean-style photos. If you're eager to try this new way of playing, why not come and experience it! 🚗Transportation Guide: Take the subway from the city center 🕙Opening Hours: Each kimono experience hall has different business hours 💰Experience Price: 3,000–7,000 won 🌟Recommended Shooting Locations: 1️⃣Gyeongbokgung Palace: A landmark building in Seoul, known as the "Forbidden City" of Korea, and a popular place for many girls to take hanbok photos. It is said that wearing a hanbok allows you to visit Gyeongbokgung Palace for free! 2️⃣Bukchon Hanok Village: A hanok village not far from Gyeongbokgung Palace, which integrates Korean characteristics. Walking through the wooden hanok, you can take beautiful photos! 3️⃣Unhyeongung Palace: This inconspicuous palace has a history of nearly 200 years. It is said that the wedding of King Gojong and Empress Myeongseong is occasionally reenacted here, making it worth checking in. 📌Experience Tips: ✅The correct way to wear a hanbok is to wear undershorts first, then a petticoat, then a long skirt, an inner top, and an outer top. It is said that the way the ribbons are tied is also very particular, and it is difficult to do it without the assistance of a professional! ✅Hanbok rental only provides hair accessories, accessories, and hairstyle design, and does not provide makeup services. If you want to take a blockbuster, it is recommended to put on full makeup in advance, and the photos will be better! ✅If you go to Gyeongbokgung Palace to take hanbok photos, it is recommended to wear comfortable flat shoes, as there are many slopes along the way. In addition, the hanbok rental place also provides lockers, where you can store your valuables. ✅It is not impossible to experience hanbok wearing for free in Seoul. You can go to K-Style Hub, Seoul International Cultural Experience Center Myeongdong Tourist Information Center, and Incheon Airport Korean Traditional Culture Center. ✅Each hanbok experience center has different reservation rules. Some cannot be reserved in advance and need to be queued up on the day to experience in order, while others can. It is recommended to ask before going to avoid a wasted trip.

Experience Korean culture with hanbok!

Experience Korean culture with hanbok!

Rent a hanbok before visiting a palace! Free entrance is guaranteed to the palace if you are wearing a hanbok. There are many hanbok rental shops near the palaces. I paid 30,000 Korean won for 2 hours of rental. The price varies depending on the style of hanbok you are renting(traditional/modern/royal) and the hours of rental. Traditional also known as a standard one is the cheapest option whereas more modern or royal would be on the pricier side. In the shop I went the standard traditional one was 15,000 Korean won for 2 hours and I went for the royal one which cost me double of course. Sometimes they have promos so you can find a sign outside (will be english) that would advertise (e.g one day rental for 15,000, but if it’s cheap be prepared that it will be something plain so if you are looking for something like in my photo then be prepared to pay more). They also style the hair for you. Recommend 100%. I think commonly women are the ones renting out hanboks, but if you are travelling with a male companion they have male hanboks too! so don’t hesitate and go for it, amazing photos guaranteed 📸😍

🇰🇷 Hanbok experience in Gyeongbokgung Palace

Gyeongbokgung Palace (景福宫) is the largest palace out of the five palaces in Seoul. It was constructed at the end of 14th century during the Joseon period. Over the next few hundreds years, the palace was destroyed, abandoned and reconstructed before being torn down during the Japanese occupation. Since 1990, an effort to restore the palace to its former glory has been ongoing. The palace is a short walk away from Gyeongbokgung subway station Exit 5. We rented Hanbok (Korean traditional costume) at one of the many rental shops nearby before we entered the palace. The rental included basic hairstyling and additional accessories were available at extra cost. The admission to the palace is 3000 won but we got free admission since we were dressed in Hanbok. Therefore it is not surprising to see many visitors walking around the palace dressed in Hanbok. It was a fun and memorable experience for us taking pictures at different parts of the palace. The palace is closed on Tuesdays. There are a few free guided tours in foreign languages available on certain days of the week. #heritageplace #korea #southkorea #seoul #palace #gyeongbokgung #hanbok #traditionalcostume #tripblazers

Korean princess one-day card~ It's really photogenic! This time, not only did I experience traditional Hanbok, but I also learned about the history of Gyeongbokgung Palace in advance, experienced traditional culture, and felt like I was traveling back to ancient times in Hanbok. In addition, there are the National Palace Museum of Korea that displays Korean artifacts and the National Folk Museum of Korea that showcases traditional Korean style. 📍: 200 meters from Exit 5 of Gyeongbokgung Station on Line 3 🔖: Closed on Tuesdays, be careful not to run in vain 🎫: 3000 Korean 💰/person If you wear Hanbok, you don't need to buy a ticket Hanbok rental: Supermarket near Gyeongbokgung Palace, just find one 🉑️ No need to make an appointment~ The approximate price is 20000-35000💰/2h In addition, you can walk to 🚶Bukchon Hanok Village, the small streets are antique and beautiful~ It is also very suitable for taking pictures in Hanbok📷 Come to Seoul this autumn~

🇰🇷Experience the feeling of watching Korean dramas by wearing Hanbok.

🇰🇷Experience the feeling of watching Korean dramas by wearing Hanbok.

Actually, it's just wearing Hanfu and taking photos 📸, After all, wearing Hanfu can get you in for free. Thinking that it would be quite a feeling to wear Hanfu and see cherry blossoms 🌸 now, so I'll just go in and take a look. Big or small, it's hard to say. Actually, it's just ancient architecture, and of course, mostly visited by tourists 🤣. At the entrance, there is a fixed time for the guard to perform a ceremony, but it's actually just a shift change 🤣. 📸Photo spot: The door of a small house at the city gate, a row of city pillars, a cherry blossom tree next to the city wall, and a group photo with cherry blossoms in a certain courtyard and at a high place... For Hanbok, there are many rental places nearby. It is recommended to rent for more than 2 hours, so you can visit Gyeongbokgung Palace or walk to Bukchon Hanok Village. (I found a rental place on the spot and upgraded from 2 hours to unlimited time, and they even provided a complimentary bag.) This weather is quite comfortable in thin clothes. I've tried wearing them in winter, and all I can say is it's cold 🥶. Gyeongbokgung Palace 📍Location: Exit 5 of Jingfu Palace Station 🚇
