The Ella train ride really is that beautiful 💚 The reality is that both the train and Nine Arches Bridget get crowded, and over in a blink, yet somehow it’s still magical. Standing by the open doors, feeling the breeze, watching the bridge appear… one of those moments that reminds you why you travel in the first place. Here’s what you need to know 📌 Save for later:� At the time of our visit, the Kandy–Ella train wasn’t fully operational, so instead of the full route we did a shorter (but still stunning) section. We took a taxi from Ella to Haputale, then caught the train back towards Ella. This is also perfect way to experience the scenery without spending the whole day on the train.
