#summervacay Hiking up Montcabrer was such a vibe, challenging in the best way, with those slow-burn views that just keep getting better as you go. It's one of the highest peaks in the Serra de Mariola, and the trail feels wild but not too hardcore. Definitely bring good shoes and plenty of water though, this one makes you earn the view. The scenery is all rolling hills, rocky paths, and a ton of wildflowers if you catch it in the right season. We even spotted some goats just casually hanging out like they own the mountain. Once you hit the top, it’s wow. Total 360-degree views over valleys, tiny villages, and way out to the coast on a clear day. There’s a peaceful, quiet energy up there that makes it feel kind of magical. You won’t find shops or cafés nearby, so pack snacks and enjoy a little summit picnic. If you’re into hikes that pay off with serious views, Montcabrer totally delivers.

Spanish Mediterranean Coast Tour ~ Barcelona (Region) A beautiful but strenuous hike from Canet de Mar to the Cross! A very good walk surrounded by forest, lots of climbing but nice dirt road, surrounded by pine trees, a good excursion, the view at the top is spectacular with views of the sea, the coastal mountains, Canet and the surroundings. It is highly recommended because you can take the train to Canet de Mar, and the road is very close to the station. If you walk from the station, you can reach the top of the mountain in 45 minutes. #AprilDestinations2025 #SpainTravel #Catalonia

Mediterranean Coast Tour of Spain ~ Barcelona (Region) This is a well-preserved modernist castle that has been meticulously restored and maintained. We visited on Saturday at 12:30 with a guide, and the tickets were purchased through the castle's website. In my case, I opted for the guided tour, which was excellent because the guide provided a comprehensive overview of the castle's history right from the start. The tour lasted 1.5 hours and was very enjoyable. You cannot visit the entire castle, as one half is a foundation and the other half is a private area owned by a family. It's crucial to be punctual because they close the gates, and if you're late, you'll be left outside.

Catalonia is not only famous for its rich culture and cuisine, but its majestic castles also add a unique historical charm to this land. 💟 Montgrí Castle (Castell de Montgrí) Montgrí Castle is located on the top of Montgrí Mountain. Although it is an unfinished castle, it still offers beautiful scenery for tourists. After climbing to the top, you can overlook the vast surrounding scenery. 🏷 It is recommended to go in the early morning or evening to enjoy the charming sunrise or sunset. 💟 Burriac Castle (Castell de Burriac) Burriac Castle is not far from Barcelona and can be reached via a short and steep hiking trail. This castle overlooks the Maresme coastline, the surrounding green mountains, and the distant cityscape of Barcelona, which is amazing. 💟 Miravet Castle (Castell de Miravet) Located in the province of Tarragona, Miravet Castle is located above the beautiful village of Miravet, which is famous for its canoe activities on the Ebro River. The castle is well-preserved and the surrounding environment is quiet and charming. 💟 Hostalric Castle (Castell d'Hostalric) This well-preserved medieval castle is located on a strategic high ground between Girona and Barcelona. The walls and towers of Hostalric Castle are still intact. Tourists can stroll along the city walls and imagine the battles fought to defend this castle. 💟 Suda Castle (Castell de la Suda) Suda Castle is located on a hill in Tortosa, overlooking the city and the Ebro River. The majestic structure of the castle witnessed the rich history since the Muslim occupation and also played an important role during the Christian conquest. Tourists can explore the well-preserved towers, city walls and courtyards of the castle to understand its role in various historical periods.
