Chasing Views and Mountain Vibes at Montcabrer
#summervacay Hiking up Montcabrer was such a vibe, challenging in the best way, with those slow-burn views that just keep getting better as you go. It's one of the highest peaks in the Serra de Mariola, and the trail feels wild but not too hardcore. Definitely bring good shoes and plenty of water though, this one makes you earn the view.
The scenery is all rolling hills, rocky paths, and a ton of wildflowers if you catch it in the right season. We even spotted some goats just casually hanging out like they own the mountain. Once you hit the top, it’s wow. Total 360-degree views over valleys, tiny villages, and way out to the coast on a clear day.
There’s a peaceful, quiet energy up there that makes it feel kind of magical. You won’t find shops or cafés nearby, so pack snacks and enjoy a little summit picnic. If you’re into hikes that pay off with serious views, Montcabrer totally delivers.
