No way, you really haven't stayed in a courtyard house in Beijing?

The weather was so nice last weekend, and my friend from the south kept asking to stay in a "Beijing-style" hotel. I looked at a lot of places and happened to find this courtyard hotel that opened last year, right next to Wangfujing. It's convenient to go anywhere from here, and the reviews are good, so I decided to try it out. This is my second time staying in a courtyard hotel in Beijing. After knocking on the ancient-style door knocker, I stepped into the courtyard and was greeted by corridors of blue bricks and red tiles. Through the atrium, I could see the rare blue sky of Beijing in March. The wind disturbed the wind chimes under the eaves and blew off a few peach blossoms in the courtyard... I walked and looked around, and there was a view at every step. The hotel only has 9 rooms, and the one we stayed in is called "Mantingfang," which has a private rooftop terrace. You can overlook the entire courtyard from the terrace. If you're brave, you can try the "roof tile removal" experience like my friend. The owner was very nice and even brought us a "fireplace tea" on the terrace. Watching the night sky, listening to the crackling of the charcoal fire, drinking tea, eating snacks, and talking about life was so peaceful. It's also worth mentioning that this boutique hotel really put a lot of effort into its amenities. The toiletries in the rooms are all from FFH's French plant rosemary essential oil series, which is perfect for relaxing and unwinding after a day of play. All the rooms have Dyson hair dryers, which once again shows the level of competition among mid-to-high-end hotels in China. The room was very quiet at night, and my friend said it was the first time they had a dreamless night in Beijing. Besides the terrace room we stayed in, we also liked a room with a private courtyard and pond called "Yichunlan." When we went, the guests had just checked out, so we went in to take a look. The housekeeper gave us a bag of fish food, and we spent a long time playing with the fish by the pond. I heard this room is the most popular, so I decided to bring my family to experience it next time. There's a small restaurant in the center of the courtyard that serves a simple breakfast in the morning and tea and wine in the afternoon and evening. There's also a large public terrace on the second floor, and the owner said they plan to hold some events when the weather gets warmer. We thought watching an outdoor movie in the courtyard would be nice. Overall, it was a very memorable stay, and it was really photogenic. I searched and found that no one has recommended this place yet, so it's really an undiscovered gem.
