#June Travel Support Fund The National Maritime Museum has a well-organized exhibition of old ships, from diplomatic wooden ships from the Joseon Dynasty to traditional anchovy fishing boats. In particular, a life-size restored model of a Joseon Tongsinsa wooden ship is displayed on one side of the aquarium next to the permanent exhibition hall ‘Maritime Hall’ on the third floor, allowing you to experience the sailing life and ship structure during the diplomatic and trade period in three dimensions. In addition, about 60 models of traditional ships from around the world, including models of traditional Korean fishing boats such as Gwanmaedo ships and models of the Swedish warship ‘Vasa’ from the 1960s, are periodically exhibited as special exhibitions, allowing you to compare ships from various eras and countries.
