Healing Walk with Cliffside Ocean Views at Taejongdae Park

Taejongdae is a famous natural park located at the southernmost tip of Yeongdo Island in Busan. Its most notable features are the spectacular coastal cliffs and the sprawling forest trails. I took a bus from Nampo to get there, which took about 40 minutes, and the park has free admission. Since the park is quite large, I opted to ride the park's mini train, which costs 2,000 KRW. You can get off at various stops, such as the lighthouse station and the observation deck, to take photos and explore at your own pace. Standing at the edge of the cliffs, the vast ocean stretches endlessly before you, and the cool breeze instantly lifts your mood. I was lucky to catch the tail end of the hydrangea season, making for some stunning photos. On clear days, it's said you can even see Tsushima Island. Besides enjoying the ocean views, there are also legendary spots like the Rock of the Faithful Wife and the Fairy Rock, which add an interesting touch to the visit. The entire walk took about two to three hours, making it a perfect half-day trip in Busan. Highly recommended for nature lovers!
