Phra Borommathat Worawihan Temple

Wat Phra Borommathat Worawihan, Chai Nat Province, is located on the banks of the Chao Phraya River in Mueang District. It is an ancient temple from the Sukhothai period. It is notable for its Phra Borommathat Chedi in the shape of a rice bundle, containing the relics of the Lord Buddha. The chedi has been renovated many times, but it still retains its sacredness and power. Inside the temple, there is also the Wihan Luang Pho Thammachak and several important Buddha images.
