Its parent company is Foremost from the United States. Over the decades, BLUE SEAL has evolved into a beloved local Okinawan brand, becoming a favorite choice for tourists seeking a refreshing treat after meals or during hot afternoons. I loved it so much that I indulged in it three times during my three-day stay in Okinawa—once as a single scoop of ice cream, another time as a float coffee, and finally as a crepe. The shop on Kokusai Street offers street-side seating, allowing you to enjoy your ice cream while watching travelers pass by and planning your next destination. The vacation vibes are truly palpable. With nearly 20 flavors to choose from, those who struggle to decide can opt for the 12-cup or 18-cup combo packs to take home. The brand's popularity has also extended to its merchandise. Many tourists can be seen wearing BLUE SEAL T-shirts, and its canvas bags are especially sought after. Fun fact: Taiwan's former Foremost ice cream was originally derived from BLUE SEAL.
