The Stunning White Temple in Chiang Rai

Wat Rong Khun, commonly known as the White Temple, is truly the most breathtaking stop I had in Chiang Rai! The entire temple is dazzlingly white, and under the sunlight, it seems to glow, making it unbelievably beautiful. Walking across the bridge symbolizing the cycle of rebirth gives a sense of solemnity and mystery. Inside the main hall, the murals surprisingly feature many modern elements, like movie characters blending into the Buddhist world, which is both interesting and unique. It turns out this temple is the masterpiece of Thai artist Chalermchai Kositpipat and is still being expanded. It's absolutely worth a visit in person!
