Make a stop in Shizhuo, not just Alishan

Spent an extra day in Shizhuo while on my way to Alishan and definitely did not regret it. This is definitely one stop worth adding on to the Alishan itinerary. I splurged a little and booked a room for my solo trip at the YunMinGi B&B which was great, huge room with beautiful views directly from the room itself. Amenities were great as well, there was a heated mat provided that helped warm me up in the chilly mountainside environment. Both dinner and breakfast was also available onsite, which made it convenient for travellers and the B&B was located right next to the top of one of the popular walking trails, the Sunset Trail. For travellers that are not driving, they also help to get you in touch with a driver for pickup and drop off service between the bus or train station and the B&B. #sereneview
