An Unforgettable Trip to Cologne Between Paris and Berlin

Recalling the Cologne Cathedral, which was briefly mentioned during high school world history class, I decided to stop by Cologne as a transit point while traveling from Paris to Berlin. The grandeur and majesty of the cathedral, which I saw as soon as I got off the train, still remain vivid in my memory. It was an honor to attend a mass by chance, and the stained glass windows I saw inside were so beautiful that they sparked a deeper interest in cathedral architecture. Strolling through Cologne for a short time, I found joy in the charming old architecture amidst streets that were neither too crowded nor too deserted. The hearty goulash and a glass of Kölsch were also unforgettable culinary experiences. I crossed the Hohenzollern Bridge several times, capturing Cologne in my heart during the afternoon, sunset, twilight, and night. Finally, I boarded the night train heading to Berlin Central Station.
