Da Nang for the 7th Time: Discovering the Best Steakhouse!

This is my 7th trip to Da Nang, and every time I go, I make it a mission to find the best steak and burger spots. I've tried all the famous places like Bavi*, Br*lliant Rooftop, Hill*, Pink*et, Fat *sh, and more. I've even had golden beef twice. I've been a regular at Burger Br*s for 9 years now~ haha. But now, I think I've found my go-to steak place. It's none other than Olivia Prime Steakhouse, a Michelin-recommended restaurant in Da Nang. **Ambiance/Facilities:** During the day, the restaurant plays light jazz at a comfortable volume, and the temperature inside is just right. In the evening, the sound of conversations from nearby tables mixes with the music, but considering it's Da Nang, it's relatively quiet. My wife did mention it felt a bit chilly in the evening. **Key Points:** One standout feature is that they replace side dishes and utensils like forks during the meal. For this price, the service is top-notch! They also use premium ingredients—not just for the main dishes like steak but also for items like burgers with grilled foie gras. The menu offers high-quality dishes at reasonable prices. During happy hour, you can even get a free drink. The restaurant has manager-level staff overseeing operations during both day and night. They are very friendly and knowledgeable about meat and wine, offering wine recommendations based on the steak's condition and your personal preferences. All staff members are fluent in English, and some can even speak a bit of Korean. The restrooms are exceptionally clean (apparently, Michelin considers restroom cleanliness too!). The sink area even has feminine hygiene products discreetly placed in a lidded container—just lift the lid to find them. The staff also arrange food on plates in a way that's perfect for taking photos. After you snap your pictures, they help with cutting the steak and even offer to take group photos for you. Their attentiveness is truly commendable. **Caution!!** The steak is served on a hot plate initially, so it continues to cook while you take photos and they cut it for you. I recommend ordering your steak 1–2 levels less cooked than your usual preference. I made a mistake with this, but it was still delicious haha. On my two visits, I had a few conversations with the manager about the food and wine, and they gifted me a cheesecake and chocolate liqueur. Speaking of the cheesecake—it’s the real deal! Most cheesecakes I've had are fake compared to this one. It’s on the menu, so make sure to try it! It tastes just like the ones I had in the U.S. Sorry, J*lli Deli Cheesecake, but you’ve been dethroned... haha. Honestly, I’ve only bought chocolate cake since coming back to Korea, but anyway, the cheesecake here is amazing. The only downside was the jam they added to the plate for presentation—it wasn’t really my thing haha. You can make reservations via email or phone. For a restaurant in Vietnam, they’re surprisingly quick at responding to emails. If you’ve ever tried emailing a restaurant in Vietnam, you’ll know what I mean. Like Hard Rock Café, they sell branded T-shirts and hats. I liked the polo shirt, but my partner pointed out that the material seemed too thick, so I decided not to buy it this time. Maybe next time! **Average Price Per Person:** It varies depending on drinks, but expect around 100,000 KRW for steak and around 10,000 KRW for burgers.
