Dongshan Island's top street, Citywalk, experience the old streets of southern Fujian along the way

I've been to Dongshan Island several times, previously spending time exploring the coast. This time, I took the opportunity to explore the island. Today's route was Ding Street Citywalk. Ding Street is an old street on Dongshan Island with over 600 years of history. While only a little over 800 meters long, it's densely packed with historical sites, various cultural and creative shops, and cafes, offering a rich sense of southern Fujian culture. 📍You can navigate to the "Dongshan County Ancient City Library" to begin your tour, and walk up the path to the left of the library. Route: Dongshan County Ancient City Library → Dongshan Island Text Wall → Zhuanyun Cafe → Quirky and charming shops → Nanwang Terrace → Wengong Temple ✅ Dongshan County Ancient City Library: A small, retro library that also serves as the Ding Street Visitor Center. It's easy to explore in just over ten minutes. ✅ Dongshan Island Text Wall: Walk further along Ding Street and you'll see the "Dongshan Island" text wall, a popular spot for photo-taking. ✅ Zhuanyun Cafe: A popular check-in spot similar to the Travel Anywhere Gate and Nanbowan! You can also enjoy a lucky coffee. Who can really explain this metaphysics? ✅ Quirky and charming shops: The cultural products are all beautiful, especially the magnets and plates. The island elements are very creative. ✅ Nanwang Terrace: The same filming location for the movie "The Left Ear," offering stunning views of Tongling Town and the ocean.
