South Island's Dual-Sea: A Limited-Time Sandbar Wonder

Every day during low tide, a sandbar emerges between the waters, creating a path to the island, also known as the "Angel's Road." Visitors can then explore the island, earning it the name "South Island's Dual-Sea." This is a "gallery" that opens daily for a limited time, showcasing poetry carved on rocks, a refreshing green-and-white lighthouse, and the vast, boundless sea. Once on the island, head left to find numerous rocks engraved with poems. These are part of the "Dongshan Island International Children's Poetry Beach Project," featuring creations from children worldwide. Some poems are humorous and playful, while others reflect the romanticism and philosophy seen through children's eyes—definitely worth a read. To the right is the famous green-and-white lighthouse, a filming location for the movie *Your Wedding* starring Greg Hsu and Zhang Ruonan. Many visitors come here to take photos, and wearing light-colored clothing is recommended for better pictures. Be mindful of the tide schedule when visiting the island. If stranded, you'll have to wait several hours for the next low tide. You can check the tide times using the "Tide Elf" mini-program or consult local fishermen. The UV rays by the sea are intense, and the sea breeze can be strong, so make sure to apply sunscreen. If you plan to play in the water, consider bringing waterproof bags to protect your phone and camera.
