#templestay This is a very beautiful place. It is one the most holy place for all the Buddhist people. It is surrounded by greenery and beautiful mountains. It preserves some of the very rare ancient books of Buddhism. We can't take photographs inside of the main prayer hall. We have to buy 10/- tickets per head. The best view of the whole Gangtok city comes from the roof the Rumtek Monastery. Try to go to there at the afternoon time. You can enjoy the beautiful sunset from there. A must visit place in Sikkim.
