If you ask me what the most amazing experiences I've had while traveling are, staying in the Sahara Desert would definitely be on the list. During this trip to Morocco, I joined an in-depth exploration tour group, where I camped in the desert for several days and experienced the magnificence and mystery of the desert with fellow travelers from all over the world. The most special thing about this trip was that I had no idea who I would be sharing a tent with. This unknown made the experience even more exciting. Strangers from different countries became connected through this trip, sharing stories and exchanging cultures. This connection is the most precious part of the journey. However, life in the desert is indeed challenging - the fine sand penetrates every pore, and your clothes, backpack and even skin will be covered with sand no matter what. Therefore, anti-sand equipment is essential, especially shoe covers, which can make your walking in the desert easier. Of course, this journey is not easy. It takes more than five hours by car just to reach the desert. But when the sunset dyes the sky red, you stand on the endless sand dunes and listen to the silent wind, all the hard work becomes worth it.
