Hiking Chorogbong in Donghae

#summervacay Chorogbong in Donghae isn’t the tallest mountain around, but don’t sleep on it, it’s got serious charm. The trail is super manageable, making it perfect for a relaxed day hike. No crazy rock scrambles or endless stairs, just a steady, peaceful climb through the forest with birds chirping and cool shade most of the way. What really makes this one special is the view. As you get closer to the top, the trees open up and ocean! There’s just something awesome about seeing the sea from up high while breathing in fresh mountain air. We went on a sunny day and could see the coastline stretching forever. The summit’s not huge, but it’s a sweet spot to rest, snack, and snap some pics. Hardly any crowds when we went, which made it feel even more relaxing. If you’re in Donghae and want an easy hike with peaceful vibes and a side of ocean scenery, Chorogbong’s a solid pick. Would totally do it again.
