[Rhine River KD Cruise]

We took a cruise ship from Rüdesheim to Sankt Goarshausen, which is said to be the most fulfilling of the Rhine cruises. From Frankfurt to Rüdesheim, it took about 1 hour and 20 minutes by train (RB) (delays are common in Europe, so this is just an estimate). We purchased our tickets on the day at the local KD Cruise reception office (credit card payment OK). The weather was good, so we sat on the second floor. The scenery was pleasant to look at, and the fresh breeze was also pleasant. There were announcements in German. It was about an hour or two, but it was fun to see the various old castles. Most of them were apparently used as checkpoints on the Rhine in the past. It might have been better to continue the cruise further to Koblenz. Overall, it was a fun memory! #RhineCruise
