Enjoying hot springs in Gero

Masuya offers both public baths and private baths. The private outdoor hot spring bath can be reserved for 30 minutes and is suitable for mixed-gender use, making it ideal as a family bath. Since the private bath does not have shower facilities, you need to wash up in the public bath or your room beforehand. Be sure to bring towels provided in your room! Although it’s not a large bathhouse like those in Nagoya, it’s not a crowded ryokan, so I was able to enjoy the baths exclusively in the morning and evening. The public bath is available until 9 AM.
