Midnight Arrival to Magical Cardiff—Castles, Pizza & Bay Boat Ride

We arrived in Cardiff at midnight from London, stayed at premier inn and spent the next day exploring this lively city. A highlight was Cardiff Castle—student tickets at £12 gave us access to the Roman and Firearms museums, where you can even try a fun £1 WWII gun simulator. Climbing to the castle tower rewards you with stunning city views not to be missed. For food, Pizza Pilgrims near the castle served incredible pizza with great staff and a cozy vibe. Later, we took a £7 open-top boat ride to Cardiff Bay, enjoying the scenic journey, ice cream by the waterfront, and sights of another small castle nearby before heading back.
