China's Latest LHW Member Lands in Guiyang

The Leading Hotels of the World (LHW) has officially announced the inclusion of Guiyang's Pearl Gallery Hotel. As the first and only member hotel in Guizhou province, Pearl Gallery will join over 400 legendary hotels worldwide as an Oriental luxury art hotel, creating new paradigms for culturally immersive stays. After maintaining single-digit membership in China for years, LHW has significantly accelerated its expansion recently with one new member annually: the unexpected 2023 addition of Hylla Vintage Hotel in Lijiang, 2024's Puxiang Jinfo Mountain retreat in Chongqing, and now in 2025, the tenth member finally arrives! Pearl Gallery Hotel only completed its rebranding from "Guiyang Guanshanhu Maison Albar Hotel" in late July last year, yet achieved LHW membership within just 10 months. Consistently hailed as "Guiyang's most acclaimed hotel," the property transformed from Maison Albar Guanshanhu into Pearl Gallery Hotel, evolving into an internationally-minded Chinese autonomous luxury boutique brand excelling in art, design, local culture, and community service. These achievements stem from a decade of dedication by brand CEO Cao Guoliang. In 2014, when Plateno Group and Groupe du Louvre jointly created Maison Albar, Cao served as its founding CEO. The Guiyang property opened in 2020. (After Jinjiang's acquisition of Plateno, Cao led two Maison Albar hotels - including Chengdu's LUXE* Maison Albar - to independent development.) On July 28, 2024, the hotel rebranded as Pearl Gallery, with Cao becoming the brand founder. On May 19, 2025, it officially became LHW's tenth Chinese member - an inspiring tale of hospitality perseverance.
