#5月好去处2025 Same Station is a local station located in Hachinohe City, Aomori Prefecture, and is part of the JR East Hachinohe Line. It is not only an important gateway to famous attractions such as the Tanesashi Coast, Osuka Coast, and the Kameshima Shrine, but also because of the special name of the station ("Same" means "shark" in Japanese), it has become one of the favorite photo spots for railway fans and tourists. The station is small, but clean and cute, with a strong local flavor. After exiting the station, you can walk to the Kameshima Shrine (about 15 minutes) or take a local bus/hike to the multiple observation decks and trails on the Tanesashi Coast. In summer, you can also take the seasonal sightseeing bus "Umineko (Sea Cat)" to connect popular coastal attractions along the line.
