If you want to stay inside the scenic area, you can only choose the Hongliutan Service Area Hotel, which is very expensive, about 570 yuan per night. Since we came as a team for photography, we had no choice but to stay inside. How to say it, the environment is clean, but not worth the price. The water inside is yellowish and needs to be flushed for about half an hour because it’s desert water. It’s fine for simple washing, but coming from inland, it’s a bit uncomfortable. 🚗Transportation Guide: You can rent a car locally, you can rent a Tank 300, and you can choose to rent on Trip.com. It is recommended that everyone buy insurance because Hami has strong sandstorms. If you go to Dahai Road Scenic Area, the wind can easily break the glass. Filling one tank costs about 470-490 yuan. It can basically run more than 500 kilometers without problems. You must rent an off-road vehicle to enter Dahai Road; other cars really won’t work. If you want to enter the core scenic area, sedans can’t go because the roads inside are all rough plate roads. The best spots are all inside. 🌟Highlights: One day is enough for Dahai Road, but if you have time, you can play for two days. It takes about 1 hour from Hami city center to the ticket gate. It takes about 50 minutes from the scenic area entrance to Hongliutan Service Area, I mean without stopping. The suggested order of play is from inside to outside, which is more suitable. Dahai Road has few people, and the beautiful times are as follows: Early October, for reference only: 7:00 to 8:00 AM Blue hour, shoot on the road before S-Bay Road, otherwise the mountains block the light. 9:00 to 10:00 AM can shoot at S-Bay Road, be sure to shoot from the dirt slope by the roadside, absolutely beautiful. The shooting direction is the outgoing road direction, not the service area direction. Tongtian Cave takes about 45 minutes from Hongliutan Service Area, basically at 50-60 km/h. If slow, it takes about 1 hour. It takes 30 minutes from Hongliutan Hotel to the water source, where you can rest, buy water, and smoke haha. They also sell noodles here, but they are expensive and not tasty. It takes about 20 minutes from the water source to Tongtian Cave. It’s fine to come here in the afternoon because it’s inside a canyon, and it looks very beautiful if there is light on top. If staying at Hongliutan Hotel at night, the most beautiful time is at dusk; the sunset is very beautiful. The time is around 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM. If you want to leave the same day, control your time to reach the scenic area entrance around 7:30 PM, which is also very beautiful. Basically, you need to start leaving Hongliutan Service Area around 6:30 PM, otherwise, you won’t catch the sunset at the entrance, and it’s too late and unsafe!
