Relaxing hiking and beautiful scenery - Po Kwu Wan, Pak Tam Chung

Po Kwu Wan is a small bay located west of the High Island Reservoir in Sai Kung. It was originally a sluice built by local villagers to serve as a fence to store water for fish farming. There was a sluice gate on the embankment that allowed direct access to the sea for water exchange. It is now abandoned. As there are few people living there, the water is clear and bright under the sun, and there are not many people dumping garbage nearby. If you just want to try hiking, you can go to Sai Kung on weekends and take bus No. 94, get off at Pak Tam Chung, and you will arrive in less than 60 minutes. It should be noted that the stone curb has fallen into disrepair over time, so be careful when checking in and taking photos! You can also visit the Shangyao Folk Cultural Relics Museum along the way to learn about the customs and architecture of the villagers back then. However, it is recommended not to turn back too late.
