Satisfying thick-grilled beef tongue

A friend recommended this Japanese restaurant in Tin Hau, Hong Kong Island, for its excellent thick-grilled beef tongue, so I made a special trip here for dinner. Of course, I ordered the famous thick-grilled beef tongue rice set meal. Each serving has five thick pieces of beef tongue covering the entire bowl of rice. Each piece is about 2cm thick, and the surface is a bit burnt. The meat is soft and smooth when you bite it, with a moderate texture, and the satisfaction comes from the thickness of the beef tongue.
