In fact, I have been here before and I think the restaurant’s decoration is very distinctive, mainly based on arches, which is an important feature of Lebanon’s cultural heritage. The sofa and cribs also use a lot of Lebanese fabrics. Tableware 🍴 is a traditional Lebanese craft. It feels like every item is carefully selected by the owner, making you feel like you are in Lebanon. We chose two lunches and two drinks. Lunch includes soup of the day, appetizer, main course and dessert. The soup for today's meal is cauliflower soup🥣. The low-calorie and low-carb cauliflower soup is sweet enough and suitable for people who are losing weight. For appetizers, we chose Hummus Beiruti and Fattoush. Hummus Beiruti is the Lebanese version of chickpea puree, with tahini, lemon juice, minced garlic and tomatoes. The texture is smooth and creamy. Chickpea puree is served with Arabic bread, also known as Pita Bread, which is a very traditional way of eating. Fattoush is a slightly sour Lebanese salad🥗, with tomatoes, romaine lettuce🥬, celery, roasted sour spiced pomegranate, mint sauce, herbs🌿 and the indispensable Pita Chips. For the main course, we ordered Chicken Ouzi and Saniyet Samak. Chicken 🐔Ouzi is a classic Arabic rice dish. The marinated chicken chop is fried well but not too dry. In addition to chicken chops, chopped nuts are added to enhance the taste. The rice is seasoned according to traditional methods, has a good taste and is moderately soft and hard. Saniyet Samak is grilled herring 🐟 with seasonal vegetables. Saniyet is seasonal vegetables with a lot of eggplant paste. Seasonal vegetables include carrots, potatoes, bell peppers, etc. All are cut into small pieces for easy consumption. The meat of the herring is smooth, contains a little fish oil and has a rich flavor. The dessert Mahalabia is a Middle Eastern milk pudding 🍮, which feels a bit like Italian Panna Cotta, very smooth and not too sweet. The difference is that Mahalabia adds crushed pistachios on top of the jelly to enhance the taste. The 2 drinks are cappuccino ☕️ and fresh mint tea. This is probably because Lebanese people love to drink coffee, so the quality of the coffee in this restaurant is also quite high. The coffee flavor is strong enough and the milk foam is dense enough. Fresh Mint Tea with your choice of tea base. I chose Earl Grey Tea. Personally, I think it is very comfortable to drink a cup of tea after such a rich lunch. The restaurant service was excellent. After we finished enjoying the appetizers, the waiter not only changed the plates for us, but also took the initiative to wipe the table clean for us so that we could enjoy the main course more comfortably. Another small incident occurred. The Saniyet Samak we ordered was missing the herring at first.
