Hidden Island in Hong Kong: Wong Mau Chau

On a Sunday morning, we chartered a small boat from Sai Kung Pier, heading towards Wong Mau Chau under the morning light. This uninhabited island, shaped like a sea turtle, gradually became clear against the blue sea. As the boat approached, the crystal-clear water revealed coral reefs and tropical fish swimming below. We put on our snorkeling gear and jumped into the water, instantly surrounded by colorful fish. Butterflyfish darted among the corals, and sea urchins rested quietly on the rocks.
