I attended a makeup workshop at CHANEL for its limited-edition LES 4 OMBRES eyeshadow palette, a two-hour journey that blended modern aesthetics with high-end makeup craftsmanship. The work desk was filled with tools, skincare, and eyeshadow palettes in classic black lacquer packaging, each offering a vibrant, rich, and elegant palette. Each palette's color palette was inspired by the brand's symbolism: jeweled buttons on clothing, N°5 perfume, and camellias. The makeup artist shared practical tips for effortlessly creating everything from a natural, everyday look to a deep, smoky eye for a party look. The eyeshadow palette, as exquisite and captivating as a work of art and its accompanying small black velvet bag, is another matter entirely.
