If you're looking to experience authentic Hong Kong cha chaan teng, then I highly recommend "Luen Wah Cafe"! 🎈Name: Luen Wah Cafe 🎈Opening Hours: 5:00 AM - 10:00 PM (Open all year round) 🎈Location: 28 Centre Street, 28 Centre St, Sai Ying Pun, Hong Kong 🎈Directions: Take the local tram to Sai Ying Pun Station, and walk for 8 minutes. 🎈Food: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🎈Atmosphere: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🎈Price: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🎈Chinese menu only (no Korean menu) 🎈The staff are very friendly, but since this is a very local restaurant, they don't speak English, so I recommend taking pictures of the dishes you want to try and showing them to them! 🎈My accommodation is nearby, so I visited here on my last day before heading home. However, it's quite a distance from the typical Hong Kong Island attractions like Central Station, the Mid-Levels Escalator, and the bakery! 🎈Still, I was happy to be able to enjoy pineapple buns and milk tea in pretty cups in a restaurant that had the quintessential Hong Kong atmosphere I'd imagined.
