Central and Sheung Wan are always full of hidden gem restaurants. This time, I visited this Chinese restaurant on Des Voeux Road Central, and it did not disappoint. Crispy Eggplant The eggplant is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, fried to perfection while retaining the vegetable's moisture. Smashed Cucumber 🥒 Very appetizing! Topped with fresh chili 🌶️, which is quite spicy 🤣. Be cautious if you can't handle spicy food. Peking Duck We ordered half a duck, and it was more than enough. The skin was crispy, and the meat was thick 😛. The more you eat, the more you crave. It came with plenty of chives and cucumber, and each piece of duck had enough garnishes. Lobster and Pumpkin Warming Soup Perfect for friends who have been drinking. This soup can warm your stomach and provide some protection. Stir-fried Beef with Thai Basil Served sizzling on a hot plate, with plenty of shallots and garlic 🧄, which were fried to a fragrant perfection.
