Iceland Travel - Gullfoss Waterfall

#TravelEco Gullfoss Waterfall or “Golden Waterfall” is one of the most famous waterfalls in Iceland. It is located on the Golden Circle route, about 1.5 hours from Reykjavík. This waterfall is a double cascade, the first cascade is 11 meters high and the second cascade is 21 meters high. Water from the Hvítá River, which flows from the Langjökull glacier, falls into a canyon more than 70 meters deep. The sound of the waterfall is loud and the natural atmosphere is very beautiful. The main viewpoint is an easy 5-minute walk from the car park. There is a cafe and souvenir shop to relax. In the summer, rainbows are often seen from the spray, adding to the magic of this visit.
