Who understands? Huangshan after the snow is simply not a fairyland on earth

It directly stunned me so much that I wanted to settle down right there! Photo taken on January 3, 2024 Looking back two years later, it’s still breathtakingly beautiful❄️ New Year's three-day trip Day 1: Hongcun (It rained in the afternoon and I thought the trip was ruined, but the next day the mountain was covered in snow! So surprised I cried😭) Day 2: Early morning climb, stayed at Baiyun Hotel at night (recommend staying near Bright Summit Peak to see sunrise and sunset with less climbing) Day 3: Wake up early to watch the sunrise → descend the mountain ❄️ Ice cleats are needed for snowy days, buy them in advance. I bought mine on the mountain for 25 yuan ❄️ I wore snow boots (not slippery with ice cleats) and a long skirt, didn’t feel inconvenient, comfort is key. Choose either earmuffs or a hat, gloves, and trekking poles (I cleverly used my phone tripod) are all quite necessary. 💧 It’s recommended to wear quick-dry clothes close to the skin because you’ll sweat during the climb, and being sweaty is very uncomfortable ❄️ The wind is very strong and cold when watching the sunset and sunrise. The hotel provides free thick coats for guests, so wrap up! Health is important! ❄️ If you’re specifically chasing snow, check the weather forecast in advance. Rain in Hongcun + low temperature ≈ snow accumulation on the mountain, totally worth it! Winter Huangshan is really worth the trip! There aren’t as many people as in peak season, and the snow scenery plus sea of clouds really feels like being in a fairy tale~ Are there any friends who also love winter snow scenes? Share in the comments the most stunning snowy places you’ve been to~

Huangshan Scenic Area

After visiting Huangshan, no need to look at other mountains? I believe it now. Sea of clouds, strange pines, and bizarre rocks—every frame is a traditional Chinese painting
