Early winter in Huangshan can still be divine!

Having climbed Huangshan multiple times, the saying "After returning from Huangshan, no need to look at other mountains" holds true mainly because of its diverse landscapes. The close-up views are exquisite, and the distant scenery is beautiful. Although I missed the snow and rime, the clear sky allowed for brilliant sunrises and sunsets, and the winter mountain clouds added layers to the skyline! It was still a rewarding trip! Recommended winter Huangshan route: take the Yungu Cableway up—Bai'e Ridge—Shixin Peak—Black Tiger Pine—Mengbi Shenghua—Monkey Watching the Sea—Guanshi Pavilion—Bright Summit Peak—Qunfeng Peak—Flying-Over Rock—Bright Summit Peak—Aoyu Peak—Hundred-Step Cloud Ladder—Welcoming Pine—Yuping Cableway down. This entire route can be split into two days with an overnight stay on the mountain. For winter sunrises, Bright Summit Peak is the top choice because it is convenient and offers an open view (see P18, the specific spot is on Liandan Peak at Bright Summit Peak; the large uphill platform in front of Bright Summit Peak is also good). For sunsets, I recommend Qunfeng Peak, which is less crowded and has a more magnificent foreground (see P1). If you have good stamina, you can continue from Bright Summit Peak to Baiyun Hotel—West Sea Yao Terrace—Buxian Bridge (likely closed in winter due to snow)—and then return, but be sure to stay safe. Also, in winter, the West Sea Grand Canyon and Tiandu Peak are closed, so they are not included in the above itinerary. In short, places to visit in winter are limited, and Huangshan is indeed a great choice!
