Honestly, what’s the biggest worry when traveling with kids? Uncomfortable accommodation! But this time at Holiday Inn Express Quanzhou Taishang, my little one kept saying, "Mom, can we come back here next time?" From the moment we stepped in, the service was super thoughtful. The front desk staff noticed we had a child and handed over a small 🎁. The room was a family suite! Adorable little duck-themed bedding and a tent ⛺️—instant kid paradise 😆. The bedding was so soft, the little one was snoring as soon as they hit the bed (finally, this tired mom got a breather, haha). The details were impressive! The room had a smart toilet, electric curtains, and great soundproofing for a good night’s sleep. The bathroom had anti-slip mats, and they even provided kids' toothbrushes. The breakfast buffet was a lifesaver for parents—freshly cooked vermicelli soup, fruit platters, cakes, and more. My picky eater actually finished a whole bowl of congee! After breakfast, we hit the gym, which was fully equipped with treadmills, bikes, weights, a multi-functional machine, ellipticals, and a smart mirror—a dream for fitness lovers! The smart mirror was a hit; while I focused on my workout, the kid joined in, giving me some hands-free bliss 😌. 🎈 Nearby Attractions: 1️⃣ Yushawan Beach Just a 10-minute drive from the hotel! Scenic and perfect for photos. Bring a shovel and bucket—the little one can dig and build sandcastles while I enjoy the sea breeze. Pure relaxation! 2️⃣ Quanzhou West Street Stroll through this historic street lined with Minnan snacks like rice dumplings, mochi, and vermicelli soup. The kid couldn’t stop eating! We also tried traditional hairpin flower styling, soaking up Quanzhou’s unique charm. 3️⃣ Quanzhou Oceanarium The kid was mesmerized by the dazzling marine life—beluga whales, sea turtles, sea lions, jellyfish… so awe-inspiring! The mermaid shows, dolphin acrobatics, and playful sea lion performances were all highlights. Not only was it entertaining, but the little one also learned a lot about marine life. This family trip was a blast—comfortable hotel, plenty of nearby activities, and perfect for traveling with kids!
