Itoman Fish Market x One of the three major fish markets

When you come to Japan, if you like sashimi, you must go to the fish market! Because it is particularly fresh, and ready to eat, it is super convenient! As for Okinawa, there are three well-known fish markets (Moribo Fish Market, Shiman Fish Market and Buze Fishing Port). In August 2024 we visited the Momoko Fish Market, it is the largest fish market in Okinawa though. However, there are fewer seats, so if there are children or elderly people on the trip, it is more inconvenient. There are also very few seats, and it’s actually more difficult to sit down and eat. This time we chose to go to the Seiman Fish Market, which is about a 10-15 minute drive from Naha Airport. There are quite a lot of seats in the fish market, so you can sit down and eat immediately after buying. But the shops are less than the park fishing market, but between the two I prefer to be full of fish market. Maybe itself I mainly parent-child tour, plus not particularly eat sashimi, and children (cooked food) mainly, this would be more appropriate. Although there are not many shops in Manman Fish Market, I think there are about 10 shops. But there are many choices of sashimi, sushi, cooked food, fried food, and oysters to eat, if you like to eat oysters must try it! The point is that 1,200 yen has 3pack sashimi, which is around HK$65 for 3pack sashimi!!! Oysters are 500 yen each, which is about HK$27. Raw shrimp 300 yen each, HK$16 or so, looking at the photos feel quite plump and big! If you don't particularly like sashimi, there are more choices of cooked food here, which would be more suitable. In the fish market in Japan, the sashimi is really super fresh and delicious! And it is very affordable! If you like authentic Japanese food, you must go to the fish market! There is also a shop, and you can go buy souvenirs ~ There is also an open-air parking lot outside the fish market, which is free of charge.
