Cultural Walk🏯 @Khuan Lang

📅 Itinerary Day1:Visited Mahattamangkalaram Temple (Wat Hat Yai Nai) during our trip. The temple holds cultural significance and is known for housing one of the largest reclining Buddha statues in Thailand. However, there's not much else to do around the area. The temple’s exterior and paintings appear faded and could benefit from some maintenance and restoration to preserve its beauty. The visit can be completed in about 30 minutes. It’s an okay spot for a quick cultural stop, especially if you haven’t been before. Suitable for a one-time visit to appreciate its historical and spiritual value. Day2: A countryside place with exceptional view of fields and many animals. Kids would enjoy the animals and adults could be liberated with view of wide fields. Food wise, this place serve many Esarn food, if you enjoy spiciness, you may fond tbis place befitting. The ingredients of food are fresh but the cooking was, frankly, terrible. Fried squid was great, hot and crispy with spicy dippings. Fried garlic Lobster... The lobster was ok in freshness, but the fried garlic was disastrous, couldn't even eat, it was not real garlic at all. Mix yum, mixed seafood spicy salad, the seafood was ok fresh, the sauce was mediocre, had to dip into thai seafood dipping instead. If the seafood was cold, would be more enjoyable. Fried chicken, the chicken was fresh, but the batter was crunchy but no taste. The chicken also, no taste at all. Solely rely on the dipping. The place was nice, the ingredients were ok but the cooking was disappointing. Day3: Temple made from wooden structures. Very cool even on a hot day! 🏨 Accommodation Always my favorite hotel whenever I'm in Hat Yai. The location is very close to the airport it a bit far from Hat Yai city. The service was top notch. The room is clean and have a nice design. Good enough for my family of 5. The room lighting can be quite dim but overall it's cozy. Room has no iron & iron board. The hotel breakfast offers quite variety of menu. Don't forget to try their Thai Iced tea prepared fresh in the morning. There is 7-Eleven nearby where you can buy snacks, food or coffee. 🍴 Food Recommendations Cha Hua Lan A countryside place with exceptional view of fields and many animals. Kids would enjoy the animals and adults could be liberated with view of wide fields. Food wise, this place serve many Esarn food, if you enjoy spiciness, you may fond tbis place befitting. The ingredients of food are fresh but the cooking was, frankly, terrible. 📌 Tips bring sun and rain protection since the weather this time easily changing.
