I visited this place last year for the beer garden and afternoon tea. I came here for accommodation this time. It takes about 13 minutes on foot from Kumamoto Station and is 1 course away by tram. The location is a bit ambiguous because it is between downtown Kumamoto and Kumamoto Station. The tram stop is about 5 minutes from the hotel. If it is not raining, it is a good distance to walk to Kumamoto Station. The downtown arcade is about 20 minutes on foot or 10 minutes by tram. It is a perfect hotel except for the location. This hotel has the Kumamon Room, a symbol of Kumamoto. The entire 12th floor is Kumamon Room. When the elevator opens, Kumamon-ti is all over the room from the hallway. You get a river view. The Shirakawa River, Kumamoto's Han River, spreads out in front. To the right is the city view of the Kumamoto Station skyscrapers, and in the sky, you can see airplanes coming and going from Kumamoto Airport. However, in the Kumamon Room, even before the view, the room is filled with Kumamons who greet you warmly. It is fully equipped with everything from bed sheets to pillows and cushions, and the Kumamon family sits on the sofa with smiles. The lodging gifts are also prepared quickly. Three items are given as lodging gifts: two bottles of Kumamon water, two sets of Kumamon handkerchiefs, and two sets of Kumamon toothbrushes in the bathroom. The rest of the amenities are for you to see or use with your hands. These are mugs, dolls, bath mats, toothbrush cups, and shower curtains. Kumamon Room The Kumamon World is filled with Kumamon in every room. The hotel store closes around 8pm. There is also a vending machine outside in the parking lot. The nearest convenience store is about 500m away. Since it is located on the outskirts, there are no amenities at all. The pros and cons are clear. The room condition also feels like it has been around for a long time. Breakfast starts at 6:30am, so I join right away. It is the same space where the beer garden was opened. It is connected to the lounge and bar where I had afternoon tea through a blocked passageway. Add Kumamoto to the Ana Crown-like breakfast. Thank you. ※.
