On my first day in Kunming, I was healed by Dianchi Lake. This place is perfect for zoning out! There are very few people on weekdays, and the entire winding greenway feels like it belongs to you alone～ Riding slowly along the lakeside, you can see the distant green mountains reflected in the water, with the breeze rustling the leaves. It’s definitely the most pleasant way to enjoy Kunming. I recommend coming after 4 PM when the sunlight is gentle and not glaring. It’s especially beautiful riding at sunset～ There are many small flowers planted along the road, perfect for snapping photos anywhere! The best part is there are few people, so you don’t have to worry about awkward tourist photos. 🏨 Duolanda V Hotel Experience I stayed at Duolanda V Hotel near the train station, which is very convenient! The room was ridiculously clean, the bedding was soft and super comfortable, and the bathroom with separate wet and dry areas was also great. I especially liked their toiletries, which have a light, sophisticated fragrance～ Although it’s right by the station, it’s completely quiet, and I slept very well at night. ✨ Useful Tips: 1. It’s windy by Dianchi Lake, so remember to bring a light jacket. 2. The greenway is 7 kilometers long, and you can rent shared bikes (available right by the road). 3. The hotel is just 5 minutes from the subway station, making it super convenient to visit city attractions. 4. There’s a Jianxinyuan Rice Noodle restaurant nearby, a must-try when in Kunming!
