Exploring the Egyptian Archaeological Museum at Sforza Castle in Milan

The Sforza Castle Museum in Milan is a large, comprehensive museum complex comprising 18 galleries, housing art treasures and historical artifacts spanning multiple centuries. ⛺【Must-Visit Spot】: In my opinion, it's the most worthwhile place to visit in Milan besides the cathedral. 🛬【Travel Tips】: A quick glance at the entire museum takes about 1.5 hours. A thorough visit requires half a day to a full day. After purchasing tickets, the first gallery I visited was the Egyptian Archaeological Museum. At the entrance is a magnificent sarcophagus, comparable to the famous sarcophagi in Turkey. It houses approximately 3,000 exhibits, systematically showcasing ancient Egyptian civilization. Exhibits include mummies, sarcophagi, and ritual objects. The exhibition is divided into several sections, including: Historical artifacts from Mediolanum during the Roman period; Gandhara art from the Milan collection; Early Middle Ages, Etruscan civilization, and ancient Greece. Important exhibits include fragments of the Pascutum, the Book of the Dead, dating from the 13th to 12th centuries BC. 🏨【Accommodation Guide】: I stayed at the Milan-Starlight Business Palace Hotel, booked through Ctrip.
