💙 Okinawa Miyako Island | My favorite private island so far If I had to choose one, it would be Miyako Island in Okinawa! Every time a friend goes to Okinawa, I go crazy: "If I have enough time, I really have to go ~" It's still a place I'd love to go again ✈️ ✈️ How to get there It can only be reached by plane - Naha airport is about 40 minutes by far and the frequency is quite frequent - There are direct flights to Hong Kong/Tokyo/Seoul, or transfer via these cities - There are two airports on the island: Miyako Airport (near the city) and Shimoji Island Airport (far away but super beautiful! When you land, you will see a large blue coral sea, it's crazy beautiful😍) 🚌 Island transportation - **Bus**: Few services, to be ahead of time, attractions and stations are farther away to walk - **Taxi**: You can use Didi International version to call a taxi, convenient but the price is very "Japanese"🇯🇵 (you know ~) - **Bicycle**: Many rental bike shops on the island, available in hotels, are available in electric and regular models - **Driving**: IDP international license plate or Japanese license plate required 💡The biggest difference with Okinawa Main Island?
