🌊 Moalboal IL SOGNO Resort Review | Schools of Mackerel, Turtles, and a Terrace in Front of the Sea 🐢🌴

#Southeast Asia Travel 🚗 A small resort in front of the sea that I arrived at after a long drive At the end of September 2024, I started my first trip to the Philippines! About 4 hours by car from Cebu City! To be honest, it was a bit far, but as soon as I arrived, my fatigue disappeared. Panagsama Beach in Moalboal is already famous, but IL SOGNO RESORT is a small resort with only 4 rooms, so it felt more private and special. The room I stayed in was the Green Room, and when you open the terrace and go out, the sea is right in front of you, and you can get in right away after going down a few stairs! 🏝️ This was really the best choice point. 🐠 A few steps into the water... Schools of mackerel and sea turtles?! Just bring your snorkeling gear and you're ready. If you put on your swimsuit and go down to the terrace and go a few meters into the water, you can see the famous school of sardines swimming right in front of you 🐟🐟🐟 And at some point, a turtle passes by! It's hard to believe, but my wife and I both couldn't close our mouths because we see this scenery every day. Isn't this the kind of travel destination where you can just come to rest and be amazed? 🛏️ The accommodation is simple but cozy The accommodation doesn't feel like a luxury resort, but rather has an honest and simple structure. Still, the atmosphere is perfect thanks to the wide terrace and the path leading directly to the ocean! However, the shower water pressure was a bit weak, and the electricity comes only when you plug in the plastic attached to the key, so it took a while for the room to cool down after going out. 🥵 Still, the ocean view in front of the room was so beautiful that I thought, 'This is okay~' ㅋㅋ 🍜 Breakfast is served next door, the unexpected charm of cup ramen Breakfast is served next door, not in the accommodation building. I was a little taken aback, but I was secretly touched when I saw them serving Korean cup ramen (Yukgaejang!) in a bowl there. With the warm ramen and the ocean view, I didn't feel like I was jealous of a high-end restaurant. It was perfect for a simple breakfast, and coffee was also provided, so it was enough to enjoy a leisurely morning ☕🌅 💖 A short but intense 3 nights and 4 days This trip was really short, but it was memorable. Even without any grand activities, every day was healing itself, and the time we spent staring blankly at the ocean was memorable.
