Munich, Germany

Munich is the capital and most populous city of the German state of Bavaria and the headquarters of BMW. As of July 31, 2020, the population was 1,558,395 people; it is the third largest city in Germany after Berlin and Hamburg, and the 11th largest city in the European Union. The Munich metropolitan area has a population of 6 million, with 4,500 people per square kilometer, making it the most densely populated city in Germany. Munich International Airport is the second largest airport in Germany, so Asians traveling to and from Germany mainly choose here or Germany's largest airport, Frankfurt Airport. Munich's tourist attractions are mainly concentrated around Marienplatz.
