💦 Review of a trip to Rheinfall, the largest waterfall in Europe

“The sound of the water hitting the surrounding nature makes you realize that this is the true power of nature.” ⸻ 🗺️ Where is Rheinfall? • Located near the city of Schaffhausen in northern Switzerland, right on the German border. • It takes only about 1 hour from Zürich by train! ⸻ 🚆 How to get there • From Zürich HB, take the S-Bahn or InterRegio train to Neuhausen Rheinfall station. • Walk for about 5-10 minutes to reach the waterfall viewpoint. There are clear signs, easy to walk, suitable for all ages. ⸻ 🌊 Must-see highlights 1. Panoramic viewpoint • There are many points to view from both the left and right sides. • The viewpoint near the waterfall has a balcony that extends into the middle of the water, allowing you to feel the impact of the water up close! 2. Take a boat ride up close to the waterfall. • A special tour boat takes you up close to the “rocks in the middle of the water” where the waterfall crashes around you — just like in an action movie! • It is recommended to wear a raincoat because you will definitely get wet 😆 3. Laufen Castle (Schloss Laufen) • It is located on the left bank of the waterfall. You can visit it.
