Embrace Noosa National Park

After parking the car, we embarked on a 2 hour return hiked through the park and explored the coastal trails of the Noosa National Park. We arrived at the impressive natural rock formation called “Hell's Gate Noosa” after an hour. Over there, it offered a spectacular view of the coastline. We sat down on the benches for couple of minutes taking pictures and soaking up the cool breeze. The area was generally well-maintained , though there were couple of rocky wooden planks at the edge of the cliff which I saw middle-aged locals trying their luck to sit on - I couldn’t emphasise the importance of safety and wondered how they had not thought the same . Anyway it was an easy way up, suitable for most fitness levels. There was also a read up stating that the name came around because of its rugged landscape, combined with the turbulent ocean, likened to the entrance of hell. I was reading up prior to the walk that it was one of the best places to spot wild koalas but tough luck. It was only after completing the park, while waiting for the boys to clean up, that I saw the staffs noting the recent koala sightings on the chalkboard near the entrance - it then dawned on me that I should have read and probably I stood a chance? On a good note, I was able to spot a viewing spot where I saw dolphins out in the water and I got them all down on video - what a sight! Bird-spotting#noosanationalpark was also common along Noosa’s pathways. We managed to catch sunset too along our walk out. In all, it was a pleasant and beautiful journey.
