Retreat at Jangnyeongsan Natural Recreation Forest

#aprilblooms Our recent visit to Jangnyeongsan Natural Recreation Forest (장령산자연휴양림), situated at 519 Jangnyeongsan-ro, Gunseo-myeon, Okcheon-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do, provided a serene escape into nature's embrace. Arriving in June, we were immediately captivated by the lush green mountains and the expansive blue sky, accented by what seemed to be a variety of wildflowers in bloom. The recreation forest offers a refreshing experience with its clean 계곡 (stream), where the clear, shallow waters looked inviting for a relaxing soak. Stepping stones provided a charming way to traverse the stream and explore the surroundings. Red parasols were visible, possibly available for rent for those enjoying an extended stay. The area features a pleasant 분수 (fountain), adding a soothing ambiance to the natural landscape. For those seeking a bit of adventure, a 짚라인 (zip line) appeared to be among the available facilities. When the heat of the day called for respite, the option to enjoy a 시원한 맥주 (cold beer) while dipping feet in the cool stream offered a moment of genuine 힐링 (relaxation). A 족욕장 (foot bath), divided into separate sections, also looked like a wonderful amenity for unwinding and soaking in the peaceful atmosphere with companions. Well-maintained 데크길 (wooden walkways) meander through the verdant forest, offering tranquil paths for exploration and appreciation of the natural beauty. Overall, Jangnyeongsan Natural Recreation Forest presents a peaceful destination to reconnect with nature.
