#summervacay Walking around Lake Baikal is like stepping into a screensaver, no joke. The air feels cleaner, the sky somehow bluer, and the water? Just wow, crystal clear and stretching forever. I kicked things off near Listvyanka village, which is a chill little spot with some cute cafes and lake views that’ll have you staring for hours. There’s something super peaceful about just strolling by the shore, skipping stones, and watching the waves roll in. I even saw a couple of brave souls dipping into the freezing water (nope, not me). There’s a wooden boardwalk in parts, random little snack stands, and spots to just sit and take it all in. Oh, and the sunsets? Total magic. Like watercolor skies over icy water. It gets chilly, even in summer, so bring a jacket, but honestly, the fresh Siberian air is part of the whole experience. Baikal isn’t just a lake, it’s a whole vibe.
