We had dinner at Ichiran Namba Midosuji before taking an evening stroll along the lively streets of Osaka. Despite it being a well-known chain, the experience still felt unique. Ichiran is famous for its individual dining booths, which was perfect after a long day when all you want is to focus on your food. Ordering was done through a vending machine, and then we filled out a form to customise our bowl of tonkotsu ramen—everything from noodle firmness to spice level and richness of the broth. The ramen was rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The noodles were firm (just how I like them), and the pork slices were tender and tasty. Their signature red sauce gave the broth a subtle kick without overpowering the flavors. The experience felt efficient yet personal. Great spot if you’re craving a solid bowl of ramen in Osaka.
