Osaka 🇯🇵 A lovely city that makes your heart beat from the moment you step off the plane! Although it is not the capital, its charm lies in its warmth, friendliness, and liveliness that makes you smile just thinking about it ✨ 📍 Start your trip by taking the train from the airport to the city. Osaka is a very convenient city to travel to. Trains connect everywhere. Plus, there is an IC card like ICOCA that you can tap and get on right away. No need to buy a ticket! The first place we planned to go was Dotonbori 💡 🍜 Dotonbori is a foodie's paradise! There are restaurants lining both sides of the road. As you walk, you can smell the fragrant aroma of takoyaki, gyudon, and okonomiyaki wafting over you from time to time. We chose to stop by a shop with a giant octopus sign in front of the shop (how could we miss it, right?). The takoyaki here is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, topped with dried fish and oozing mayonnaise. Oh my, it's so good it's making you cry 😭✨ 🍡 While walking around this area, you'll see a giant Glico sign that you have to take a picture of. It is a symbol of Osaka! There are many good photo spots. There is also a cute dessert shop called Pablo Cheese Tart, which is so delicious that it melts in your mouth. Don't forget to buy some to take back to your accommodation to eat at night. 🍰 🎡 Next, we took the train to Tempozan Harbor Village. Our destination was Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan, one of the world's largest aquariums! The entrance itself is already cute. Walking in, it was like entering an underwater world. There were giant whales and sharks swimming right in front of us. It felt like we were in Finding Nemo. 🐠✨ 🌆 Nearby is the Tempozan Giant Ferris Wheel. A pastel-colored Ferris wheel that slowly rotates, taking us up to see a 360-degree view of the city. In the evening, the sunset view is very romantic. If you come as a couple, it will be a favorite~ But it's also fun with friends! We took so many photos that the people in the booth next to us laughed at us. 😝 🛍 Back to Shinsaibashi, a great shopping district. Even though we were tired from walking, we still didn't want to go back! There are shops selling clothes, shoes, cosmetics, souvenirs, and even chic cafes. Our favorite cafe is the cute cat shop on the 2nd floor of a small building. The interior is decorated in an ancient Japanese style. They have a green tea latte and warabi mochi menu that is so delicious that we had to order more. 🍵 🎢 The next day, we went to Universal Studios Japan!!! We screamed from the moment we saw the entrance arch. The zone that we can't miss is The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. When we entered Hogwarts Castle, we almost cried. The smell of pumpkin greeted us from the door. The hot chocolate and Butterbeer with soft foam were the best! Anyone who is a Harry Potter fan must come here. 🧙♂️ 🎠 The Mario zone is just as fun! The colors are bright. It's like being in a game. There are mini games to play. Take pictures with Brother Mario Brother Luigi and you have to try riding Mario Kart in the AR zone. It was so much fun that we exclaimed in amazement the whole way. 🏯 The next day, we took the train to Osaka Castle. The white and gold colors stand out amidst the green garden. During the cherry blossom season, it's so beautiful. It's like being in a painting. Inside, there is an interesting historical exhibition. Anyone who loves learning about Japanese culture will definitely be impressed. 🥢 For lunch, we ate Kitsune Udon at an old shop in the castle area. The udon noodles were soft and chewy, the soup was well-rounded, and the large pieces of sweet tofu floated in the bowl. We ate and smiled without realizing it. 🍜 🐙 In the evening, we stopped by Kuromon Market, a fresh market where Japanese people like to shop for fresh food. The food here is heaven! There are giant crabs, freshly grilled tuna, bite-sized sushi, and large, juicy strawberries. The price may be a bit high, but it's worth it. 🍓 📸 On our last night, we went for a walk along the quiet Yodogawa River. There was a cool breeze blowing gently, we listened to the sound of flowing water, and we saw the lights from the buildings reflecting on the river. It was a warm and peaceful end to our trip that made us not want to go back. 🥺 💖 Osaka may not be as exciting as some cities, but its charm lies in its people, its smiles, its sincere food, and its small, heartwarming corners.
